This Week’s School Rugby results from around South Africa:

This Week’s U14 Top 100 Rankings is virtually unchanged from last week although Grey High School has managed to gain a place in the top 10.

Bishops managed to take a step up on this week’s U15 Top 100 Rugby rankings thanks in part to a storming win over St Andrews College last weekend.

Herschel was the big casualties at the U16 Top Schools Tournament where they failed to bring their early season form to the event and struggled to show how good a side they are.

Rustenburg were the eventual winners of the Boys U16 Top School Tournament that was held at Paarl Gym last week (9-11 August) and their strong showing against the teams on display has boosted them on this week’s U16 Hockey Rankings.

As the hockey season draws to an end for 2018 we did have some noticeable movement on the table from the past couple of weeks matches.

Selborne College make up some good ground to finish their season strongly with a top 10 finish on this week’s Belgotex Sports Top 70 Rankings after recording a couple of valuable wins which included a 3-2 victory against Grey High School.

Affies also showed that on their day they can match many of the best teams in the country and their 5-1 thumping of Pretoria Boys High underlines this. However it could have been so much better for Affies and they could have finished even higher up the rankings if it wasn’t for some unexpected losses. However they are still a young team which will pose a threat next season.
