Herschel remains the leading Girls U16 Hockey team in the country following their brace of victories over the last week and they certainly seem to be a team who is difficult to beat.

The race to the top of the table is becoming very intense with any one of several teams capable to ending the season as the leading U16 hockey team in South Africa.

Northwood climb into the second spot on this week’s U14 School Rugby Rankings after another confident boosting win and keep their phenomenal form for this season going strong.

Another victory for Grey College this time over the powerful Affies team has helped them cement their place at the top of this week’s U15 School Rugby Rankings .

Pretoria Boys High, who had been inching up the rankings in an attempt to force a coup at the top of the table, suffered a narrow loss to St Johns College over the weekend that has seen them lose a bit of footing on this week’s Belgotex Sports Boy’s Top 70 Rankings.

Herschel delivered a big result over the weekend with a 7-3 win over Rhenish which has caused a bit of a tremor at the top end of this week’s Girls Top 70 Rankings.

It is 12 wins from 12 matches for the powerful Paarl Gym team who brushed aside Oakdale in a hard fought for victory to remain the kings of the castle on this week’s U16 Top 100 rankings.

It was a thunderous display from Paul Roos Gym who proceeded to clinically dispose of Paarl Boys High this weekend, a team who have ridden the crest of school rugby for the past few years, but this time were made to look out of sorts.
