Cricket: Rankings for 2nd March, 2013

Affies embarked on a brave tour of the Western Cape which put them in line to either leap ahead of some of the top teams or if things didn’t go their way struggle to maintain their position in the Top 3. Taking on Rondebosch they would count themselves fortunate to have come away with a draw but then they suffered an unexpected loss to Paul Roos who are having their best season to date. A good win against Wynberg helped to stop the haemorrhaging but their results have seen them drop down some places.

121Rondebosch still are clearly the team everyone wants to beat and the fact that they have practically maintained their position at the top of the rankings for two years now testimony to the depth they enjoy.

A good win by St.Stithians over Jeppe has also helped Saints climb to within in touching distance of a top three finish for the first term season.
